Perched on a leafy, sloping block in the Adelaide Hills, the Stirling residence is designed to disappear. Spotted gum timber cladding, floor to ceiling glass, off-form concrete and carefully detailed steel framing combine to minimise the impact on landscape and take advantage of the stunning views. With offset pivot doors in all rooms, the linear design maximises access to a 30m long cantilevered balcony, seamlessly connecting the home with nature.
